Gift cards are handy for gift-giving. They are now a popular way for scammers to try to steal your money.

Don’t fall for their scams.

 

• The IRS will never ask for payment with gift cards.
• No government agency will ever ask for payment with gift cards.
• No bank or other reputable business will ever ask for payment with gift cards.

 

If a caller even mentions gift cards, hang up immediately!
